Raising Funds For Veterans
Join us on November 6th and 7th, 2022 for the sixth annual Spin for a Veteran event!
Join a team to spin on stationary bikes for 24 hours or come by to cheer the teams on and raise awareness and money for the Homes for Heroes Foundation
This 24-hour spin event will have teams competing for top honours and prizes for, ‘most distance covered by a team in 24 hours’ and ‘most funds raised by a team’. Teams can assemble up to 12 people per team, Team captains will ensure a team member is always on the spin bike during the 24-hour event, from at least 30 minutes each, with no restrictions on how long they endure to do their effort for homeless veterans.
The Homes For Heroes Foundation was developed in response to the growing number of military veterans returning to civilian life who are facing crisis. Over 3,500 veterans are homeless and living on the streets in Canada. These veterans put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms and now they need, and deserve, our support. With your help Homes For Heroes will provide them with housing along with the resources, services and training that will enable them to successfully transition back into civilian life.
